Olomouc LIVE

It has been a full week of non-stop ministry for this IWC team in Olomouc.

Please pray for the group as the majority of them travel home Saturday after touring Prague tomorrow.

Pray that their hearts will retain the passion for the lost they have felt here in Olomouc.

Pray they will continue to grow in boldness from this experience, and will return to the States as more vocal and visible witnesses for the Lord.

Check back tomorrow, too, for more testimonies from IWC students, leaders, and the Brown family of the awesome ways God worked this week in Olomouc.

Thank you so much for your prayers for better weather. The Lord answered and today crews had great opportunities to speak with people and were excited by their responsiveness.

• Please continue to pray that weather remains clear, so that Czechs will be out in the areas where IWCers are ministering.
• Pray that crew members will remain energized and open to whatever the Holy Spirit leads them to say or do.
• Please pray, too, that the IWCers will be burdened with a heart for the nations through this trip that will not fade.

While God did amazing things even in the rainy weather today, the conditions did keep many people indoors and put those who were out in a hurry to be about their business.

• Please pray that weather will be more pleasant through the rest of the week. One of the best opportunities for the IWCers to be able to strike up conversations is when people are out for a stroll or feeling up to a pickup game of Frisbee or Hacky Sack.
• Pray that the students will be comfortable initiating conversations even though they don’t know the local language. Pray that the people they meet who are able to speak English are interested in having a conversation. Pray that those who don’t speak English would be willing to read the fliers.
• Pray that the students will be able to complete their film projects. Pray that the people in the city will be interested in the projects and come to the showing event.
• Pray that God would continue to work in the hearts of the students who are part of this project, and that they would grow closer to Christ through this experience.

As the group surveyed their areas of Olomouc today they also prayerwalked the streets together.

In their prayers the teams asked for

• boldness in sharing their faith,
• clear direction concerning the ways and places God would have them minister in their areas of Olomouc, and
• for Him to prepare the hearts of the Czechs the teams will come in contact with, removing any hesitancy the people in Olomouc might feel about visiting with IWC group members.

Thank you for praying for the group’s travel. Everyone arrived safely, with all but six pieces of luggage which should arrive shortly.

• Please pray for rest as the group will be fighting jet lag and fatigue now from their trip.
• Pray for orientation to go smoothly tomorrow (Sunday), so that everyone will absorb information for the week ahead that will help them reach the Czechs they come in contact with.
• Pray that the team members will be in tune with God’s heart, able to discern when He brings about divine appointments.
• Ask the Lord to remove any barriers created by language, cultural differences, or anything else that might interfere with His work this week in Olomouc.
